The entrance from the bridge Nossener Brücke is not available along Steam engine festivals.

by train: S3 (suburban train line no. 3) station Dresden-Plauen => 15 minutes walk Stairs from the platform down to the street level Turn right, walk approx. 25 m (slightly uphills) Enter Zwickauer Straße on the left side, follow this street until you reach the entry of the musuem by bus: (1) Line 61, exit at Zwickauer Straße => if you are in the bus bound for Tharandter Straße (Löbtau, westbound): walk in reverse direction for about 50 m, take the stairs down to Zwickauer Straße, turn right (under the bridge, southbound), and move on for some 200 m until you reach the entry of the musuem => if you are in the bus bound for Fernsehturm/Bühlau (eastbound): walk in reverse direction for about 50 m, take the stairs down which end directly at the entry of the museum next to the turntable (2) Line 62, exit at Chemnitzer Straße => move to that corner of the crossroads which are indicated "Nossener Brücke" / "Chemnitzer Straße" (i.e. the southwest corner) => walk along this sidewalk of Nossener Brücke for about 300 m (westbound): pass the bus stop "Zwickauer Straße" of line 61, proceed for about 50 m and take the stairs down which end directly at the entry of the museum next to the turntable |

Please park your car alongside Zwickauer Straße or one of the streets in the neighborhood. The areas of our museum as well as that of DB Regio are off limits. |
